1. What is IIPS ? How is it helpful to me ?
IIPS stands for Indian Institute of Polymer Science. IIPS is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the professional growth of people associated with rubber and affiliated industries. IIPS is the first institute in India who has opened the door for all aspirants, interested in Rubber and Polymer technology and who is unable to attend the classes and / or unable to meet the admission requirements or lack of time.
2. What is Polymer Science
Polymers, from the Greek, poli which means 'many' and meros which means 'parts'. As the word itself suggests, polymers are materials composed of molecules of very high molecular weight. The large molecules are generally referred to as macromolecules. So, this is the macromolecular science which is the subfield of materials science concerned with polymers. The unique material properties of polymers and the versatility of their processing methods are attributed to their molecular structure.
3. What is the admission procedure for IIPS's courses ?
Our admission process is based on 'FIRST COME FIRST SERVED' because we have limited seats in every programmes / courses. Anyone interested in IIPS's courses can take admission directly but he / she must check the availability of seats first on our website. After confirmation of seats, submit online admission form. After reviewing online application, we dispatch a customized admission form instantly. OR, you can download the application form from our website after getting an approval code. Furnish all particulars in admission form and send to us along with course fee and supporting documents. OR, you can deposit course fee in IIPS's Bank account by cash from your city and send receipt to us.

5. Why online admission form submission is required if I am ready to dispatch the physical copy of application form ?
This is our system process to avoid spamming...
- Successful submission of online admission form shows your eagerness, ability and dedication to IIPS.
- You cannot submit the online admission form, if you don't have scanned copy of all supporting documents.
- You cannot send us a physical copy of application form if you have not submitted online admission form first.
- After receiving your online admission form, we review it and generate an approval code for you. Then we dispatch this approval ID to you along with a customized admission form that has printed approval code. Otherwise, you can download the application form from our website.
6. How can I submit online admission form successfully ?
First, you choose the desired course...
If you have chosen DRT (suppose) then read all details of courses and credentials of IIPS. If satisfied, then scan all supporting documents first and manage the fee accordingly. If everything is ready then click 'Apply Online'on our website. Here, you can check DRT, then write your full name, followed by father's/spouse's name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Full mailing address with PIN code, Correct Email ID, Correct mobile number, Qualifications with subject-university/college-year of passing-obtained marks, Experience-if any.
Thereafter you can upload your recent passport size photograph, an scanned copy of your signature, experience letter on company letterhead and qualification certificate. File format must be in jpg and with specified size. Finally click on SUBMIT button. If you received any acknowledgement, then you are successful.

7.What is the next step after submission of online admission form ?
You will have to wait 3-4 hours. After receiving your online application, we review it and generate an approval code. Within 3-4 hours, we'll dispatch an admission form (pdf) to your email ID. You can download it, print it and furnish all particulars and send to the specified email ID. Approval code expires automatically after a week.
8. What happens if an applicant send an application form without submission of online admission form ?
When applicant send an application form to any branches of IIPS, receiver checks the name of sender. Receiver doesn't accept the consignment foor those sender who is not in his list. If they receive the consignment by default, it will be treated as UNATTENDED. We'll not be responsible for any loss of documents or payment.
9. Why Email ID and Mobile number is mandatory in the application form ?
We send the Alerts and Notifications in your mobile number and Email ID to update you. If you want to ask any question, you just need to send SMS to us with your registered mobile number and we call back to you with solutions.
10. How many days will take time to receive the study materials after submission of application form ?
We dispatch a welcome kit that contains Identity card, invoice, welcome letter and study materials within 10 days. Due to some technical reason we cannot dispatch the syudy materials at the time of welcome kit sometimes. If the study materials is not dispatched with welcome kit, then we dispatch it after 30 days.
11. What are the mode of payments ?
We accept the course fee through cash by bank deposit. We also accept payment through NEFT / NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT CODE. Currently, we don't accept fee by credit/debit cards. We also accept the fee by cash / bank transfer in our representative's bank account.
12. Can I pay the course fee into installments ?
Yes. You can write to us for detailed installment scheme. There is no any additional charges for opting installment options. Study material shall be dispatched in installments also if you choose this option.
13.Is course fee refundable if I want to cancel my admission request ?
Once your data is uploaded in our records, you can't cancel your admission request and amount will also not be refunded.
14. I need IIPS's prospectus. How can I get it ?
All information regarding admission, course content, course fee and about IIPS is already discussed and available on our website and so we don't sell and issue a prospectus. Admission form is also downloadable.
15. After enrollment in a course, how can I contact to a faculty member related to study materials issues ?
You can reach to us in this way..

16. How final examination is conducted and what kinds of questions are asked ?
All examination is conducted online. There is no need to visit our any study centre for appearing in examination. CRT / DRT / PGDRT examination is conducted once after completion of course duration whereas B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech or M.Tech examination is conducted every year (Every Semester). Final result is declared after addition of each semester's obtained marks. Multiple objective types, short answer types, numerical aptitude and subjective types questions are asked.
17. Is IIPS affiliated to any government institution ?
IIPS's regular courses affiliated to AICTE but distance courses is not affiliated to any government agencies. IIPS's distance courses runs by a team of professionals to encourage and strengthen the knowledge in concerned subjects but our certificates are accepted by industries. Admission for regular courses is done through entrance test.
18. What is the admission procedure who live in another countries (other than India) ?
Admission procedure is as same as Indian candidates. But there is some more charges for international candidates depends on country. Write to us for details.
19. What is Referral code or scheme ?
Referral code is a discount vaucher. Anyone can get 5-15% discount in our programme fee, e-magazine, consultancy services, live classes or conference etc. We issue a referral code to our all students. Other than students, can gets also this code to becoming a member of polymer people group (PPG). To becoming a member of PPG, simply submit request in prescribed form along with a membership fee. Membership fee is INR 12500/- annually or INR 22750/- for lifetime. Please visit www.ppgindia.org to know about the details of PPG.
20. Is Live Classes included in any courses ?
This facilities have been withdrawn from course contents. But we conduct live classes time to time with a team of eminent faculty on high demanded subjects. We can arrange such classes in our Delhi campus anytime if we receive request from 20 or more candidates on same subjects. Please write to us for details.
21. Is there any hidden charges except course fee ?
The course fee display on our site is final. This amount includes administration charges, study materials, examination fee and other transportation charges for Indian students. There are some more charges for international students. However, following charges are levied..
- Re-issue of plastic identity card : INR 500/-
- Re-issue of mark sheet and certificate : INR 500/- and 1000/- respectively
- Re-evaluation of examination answer sheet : INR 500/- per subject
- Re-appearing in examination : INR 5000/- or INR 1100/- per subject
- Late payment of installment amount : 7% interest pm on due amount
22. Can anyone appeared in examination other than scheduled date?
Of course, you can. Normally, examination datesheet is issued one month prior to scheduled date of examination. If anyone unable to appearing in examination, he/she can writes to us us at least 10 days before of the scheduled date. Similarly, you can write to us 10 days before if you want to appear in examination on your desired date. An examination fee may be charged.
23. Is there any discount available for new applicants?
Not in general. But if our any past students refer you, then 10% discount is available on total fee. Individually, if number of applicants is 3 or more than 3, then they are also eligible for 10% discount.
24. How to get enrolled in IIPS's Regular Courses?
Regular courses is available for M.Sc/B.Tech and M.Tech. Admission is done through online entrance test for B.Sc / M.Sc courses. GATE score is rerquired for our M.Tech regular courses.
